As is the way of things, yesterday there was a bit of a Roob bombshell before her birthday. MJ pointed me in the direction of Haile Selassie and when reading the Wikipedia entry I was struck by the Shewan family reference in the article and thought ‘Roob has written about the Shewans’. I emailed her and she replied her maiden name was Shewan.

Earlier today, I went into my local grocery store to do my shopping. As I was walking down an aisle, I was stopped by a relatively elderly woman probably in her 70s with white hair.

She asked ‘Do you have long arms ?’ And I showed her my arms which she seemed happy with. She asked me whether I would reach to the top shelf and get a box down for her.

Anyway I gave the lady her Quaker Oats which she asked for and we parted.

            In the Gemara, the shamir (Hebrew: שמיר‎) is a worm or a substance that had the power to cut through or disintegrate stone, iron and diamond. King Solomon is said to have used it in the building of the First Temple in Jerusalem in the place of cutting tools. For the building of the Temple, which promoted peace, it was inappropriate to use tools that could also cause war and bloodshed.

            Referenced throughout the Talmud and the Midrashim, the Shamir was reputed to have existed in the time of Moses, as one of the ten wonders created on the eve of the first Sabbath, just before YHWH finished creation. King Solomon, aware of the existence of the Shamir, but unaware of its location, commissioned a search that turned up a “grain of Shamir the size of a barley-corn”.

                Since “ego” seems to be the hot topic, is it egotistical of me to reference a video that I myself made? I mean, there’s some “Bowman” planted right next to my sister in the National Cemetery in Grand Prairie, Arlington borders Grand Prairie, Arlington is the main cemetery in Virginia, and I recently read that “The Arlington” in Southend-on-Sea is being shitcanned. All after some catches some rays on a pier that someone else found a statue of Shiva under at low tide? Those are some weird connections right? Worthy of mention? Something shareworthy that allows me to participate?

    1. I read an article about cultural hegemony earlier. It reminded me of Lem: the hut expands into the village which expands into the town which expands into the city which expands into the city-state, and so on. When there’s nothing left to subdue our eyes turn towards the heavens.

What would we do if we discovered that something ‘other’ is out there playing the ‘name it and claim it game’ with ‘our’ stars? Bash their heads in until they look more like our own?

      Must…keep…expanding…until ‘universal consciousness’ is established. Until the space telescopes finally ‘capture’ that elusive first beam of light and lock it away inside a data centre. Then the ‘US’ can make a start on that annoyingly heterogeneous ‘multiverse’ thingy.

          There’s some miss understanding mixed with programming mixed with oppression mixed with fear mixed with huge waves of energy mixed with everybody’s own life experience. It’s not a mystery why it doesn’t blend well. But it is a mystery about some of the stuff that happens here. (IMO).

          I’ll jump right in. Firstly, why is it hard for everyone to see that if someone is feeling like they’re having a meltdown, (or feeling some unexplained, intense energy),… why doesn’t it occur to them that possibly everyone is feeling it? If you feel it, I probably feel it! Its the (MeToo! and YouToo!) MeToo sucks, doesn’t it? Sorry to be insulting. I have never had much confidence.
          I guess I’m insulting me-self. But it is trickier than that, isn’t it? MeToo is you, too! The shift in perspective is difficult to work out.

          I suppose if we could identify and know what that feeling/energy(?) is, we wouldn’t be cometing so much. Right? And though I do love talking to everyone here, I just think that more ‘knowing’ is more (of that indescribable) gnowing. It would be a new communication/exchange of energy. Not taking away from the current thing we have, just less fear, more gnosis. (just my opinion, not that it matters).
          Recalibrate/re-mix/equal proportions. To what, exactly? I don’t know. But neither does anyone?
          I have a son and I think the world could be nicer. Does anybody else think this? If not, then is the general thought that it just continues in the same way? I find that disturbing.
          I bet you wouldn’t believe me if I told you my sun’s best friends are Fin (christian, black), Judah (jewish), and Mohammed (muslim), and Reji (Bengali). Charlie and Michael are the two white kids. The minority. It happened in a way that was so perfectly woven, meaning that it just happened without interference because kids are kids and they like fun instead of bullshit of the grownups. I just wonder, can it be?,… forever? Can the diVINE of beautiful dna keep weaving harmoniously? without the politics and religion and all other man-made shit polluting everything and ruining it?! WE shall see. I think it is possible for that to bee, whilst also having and maintaining a self and identifying with where you came from and all that. The world has shown otherwise, but that is what me feels, anyway. Does it matter what me feels? What do you feel? If what me/we THINK is all that matters, then where is the closest cliff or bridge I can jump, so I can free myself from the curse of how much melanin I have or not have, and whether or not I have a penis or if I am an incubator for producing more ME’s. The evolution is kinda slow.

    Do human beings have a magnetic sense? Biologists know other animals do. They think it helps creatures including bees, turtles and birds navigate through the world.

    Scientists have tried to investigate whether humans belong on the list of magnetically sensitive organisms. For decades, there’s been a back-and-forth between positive reports and failures to demonstrate the trait in people, with seemingly endless controversy.

    The mixed results in people may be due to the fact that virtually all past studies relied on behavioral decisions from the participants. If human beings do possess a magnetic sense, daily experience suggests that it would be very weak or deeply subconscious. Such faint impressions could easily be misinterpreted – or just plain missed – when trying to make decisions.

    So our research group – including a geophysical biologist, a cognitive neuroscientist and a neuroengineer – took another approach. What we found arguably provides the first concrete neuroscientific evidence that humans do have a geomagnetic sense.

    How does a biological geomagnetic sense work?

    The Earth is surrounded by a magnetic field, generated by the movement of the planet’s liquid core. It’s why a magnetic compass points north. At Earth’s surface, this magnetic field is fairly weak, about 100 times weaker than that of a refrigerator magnet.

    Over the past 50 years or so, scientists have shown that hundreds of organisms in nearly all branches of the bacterial, protist and animal kingdoms have the ability to detect and respond to this geomagnetic field. In some animals – such as honey bees – the geomagnetic behavioral responses are as strong as the responses to light, odor or touch. Biologists have identified strong responses in vertebrates ranging from fish, amphibians, reptiles, numerous birds and a diverse variety of mammals including whales, rodents, bats, cows and dogs – the last of which can be trained to find a hidden bar magnet. In all of these cases, the animals are using the geomagnetic field as components of their homing and navigation abilities, along with other cues like sight, smell and hearing.

  27. I searched the way back machine for the exchanges between DDNA and I that culminated in the idea of “Library of Libraries” and it’s associative LOL and philosophy of laughter. I found the articles under which we created, inspired by melanin, which we said even then cannot be stolen nor owned. Our riffs were inspired and free and sincere like jazz. Even then The Clone was aggressively mocking DDNA’s earnest exploration so much so she finally gave up and left. I hung on in “balance” but soon saw in The Clone what DDNA had sussed out well before me. The passively aggressive spitefulness that only feigns to be nice and to follow the motto “do onto others what you’d have others do unto you.” My journey here is over. I’ve spoken to other non-MVers about how The Clone lifted creative content that was not hers while mocking the originator/s and the whole reasoning behind it and then peddling the content of her white friends who are not even regular contributors here and hands down they see the sickness of this place. You try to convince me ego is bad, the body is bad, nothing matters, nothing should be owned, nothing is real, nothing matters, but absolutely nothing about the way you all live your lives suggests any of that is true. You want others to believe it is so you that you can steal and acquire that which you don’t have and thereby become “real”?         This ties with your other comment. And how the children are in this as well.

        A couple of years ago I looked up and saw two young women who looked very familiar. They were the doppelgangers of Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner. I hadn’t seen them for about 15 years. They are sisters and had been friends with Rebecca when she was young. Why do they show up in GoT.

        But also fits in with another topic you mentioned and maybe the kaleidoscope. I remember my Sophie Turner was a Ballet Dancer . Went to a ballet school in London. The Ballet Dancer has shown up for me a couple of times in last few days.

        You may remember a story told to you by a ballet dancer . Huawei ?
