The name “Koala” is primarily recognized in relation to the marsupial native to Australia, but it has also emerged as a given name and a term of endearment in various cultural contexts. The term “koala” comes from the Dharug word “gula,” which means “no water.” This is reflective of the animal’s unique adaptation to its environment, as koalas primarily derive moisture from the eucalyptus leaves they consume, rather than drinking significant amounts of water.

I Iove random facts— even more when it’s about animals. 😁

I’ve been making an extraordinary journey into the darkness. Beyond belief and incomprehensible. Heart wrenching doesn’t describe some of it. Humanity’s inhumanity to humanity is bad enough. And you can add Extra Terrestrial as in real aliens to the mix. Animals are total innocents in it. What has happened to the animal kingdom is indescribable and I’m left asking who is the higher consciousness? Higher intellects as in humanity or ET, or animals and the answer would appear to be animals.
On a brighter note I’m writing a novel and it’s coming along well. Just finished writing a sex scene which was an interesting experience !
Many animals are highly intelligent – where as many humans can be quite the opposite.
Animals seem to be Ok with nature in tooth and claw. What I’m told is what really bugs them is the lack of respect and arrogance of humans and as I said, some extra terrestrial beings. Humans and ET are just other species.
Just come back from a Sunday morning amble into the woods. Pristine. I’m clearly one with nature. Everything effects everything else.
Let’s say if there was an equivalent trial of the Nuremberg trials about humanity’s crimes against nature, humanity would clearly be found guilty.
