I love these old enclosed bus stops. I saw one recently that I had never noticed before, although it was pointed out to me that it had been there 40 years+. It was concrete as well as wood, and it sat like a little cottage at the side of the road. Really robust.
Maybe it’s age and you don’t appreciate beauty when you are younger. Footpath signs and stiles and bus stops etc are very beautiful. Very simple but they work.
