    Thank you. Couldn’t remember it’s name. It was bugging me 🙂 Knew it was a pill bug but knew there was another name.

    Woodlice are terrestrial crustaceans belonging to the order Isopoda, there are 30 species in Britain five of which are often found in garden. They shelter in dark damp places, especially where there are accumulations of decaying plant material. They feed on this material and are an important part of nutrient recycling in a healthy garden ecosystem.

        ‘Common names for woodlice vary throughout the English-speaking world. A number of common names make reference to the fact that some species of woodlice can roll up into a ball. Other names compare the woodlouse to a pig. The collective noun is a quabble of woodlice.’

  2. ..and another synch, was talking about the Bugs life and flik the ant with a client last wednesday! I do not know why I synch with Merovee blog so much. It has happened alot over the years which is why i keep coming back!
