For me its about what is authentic and provable as apposed to what is contrived and not supportable.

ACIM has been coming to a head for me . I do wonder about personal and collective belief system realities. ‘They’ are saying corona virus in a milder form is rampant over here. My mind has never been able to see it as real and in two years I’ve only come across two people who say they have had it . Plenty of second hand reports but that’s been it for me in two years.
Again with ACIM. Because I see it as true do I somehow manifest that belief system in my life ?
I was raised in the Jehovah’s Witnesses. They have a thing they do among themselves which is to refer to their belief as ‘the truth’. As I got older I asked myself just who are you trying to convince of ‘the truth’, yourselves? If you’re not convinced yourself, how do you convince someone else?
In scripture Jesus appears before Pilate and says he is here to testify to the truth. Pilate asks, “what is truth?” and Jesus doesn’t respond. 🤔
Truth is what we accept in the absence of fact.

I have known some people who were Jehovah’s Witness. Strange lot. Very friendly – I liked them – but from outsider’s perspective it looks as if they are restricted to the church’s teachings and what the church decrees.
ACIM is different. It’s more about the subconscious belief system and how that has created the reality we experience – psycho spiritual. I look for personal gnosis and also look for personal experience to back up any teachings. ACIM doesn’t prepare you though for the weirdness though. To be fair it does says gnosis comes from personal experience. You have to live it to understand it.
And this maybe more your field. And gold when I was younger. I was the golden child and the scapegoat. I think the golden child era ended after puberty ! I’m probably more the black sheep in the family now. If our mother shouted out ‘Who did that ?’ the answer would come from by brothers ‘Francis’. Interesting archetypal family relationship.
Don’t know if you have seen Ordinary People.
It’s a story about a mother and her two sons. The older son is the golden child, the younger the scapegoat. One day the two sons go sailing. There is a storm, the boat capsizes. The golden child is drowned, the scapegoat with all his flaws survives. A situation which the narcissistic mother finds intolerable.
You opened a big can of worms with the analyst which led into narcissism. Goes far deeper than I would have thought. And archetypes in Easter week with the golden child and the scapegoat. I believe there’s a sense of guilt over the death of the Christ. The point of the story for me is that he didn’t die. There is no death. And also the female Christ and the confusion, if it is a confusion, in the feminine self with Mother Mary and Mary Magadalene. Men don’t seem to have to such a big distinction with being a parent.
Something else which has popped up is ‘Seeing yourself in others’. Someone else has recognised something in me because it’s in them and I hadn’t realised the full extent of the character trait until they pointed it out. The real Self. The trip into narcissism seems to be saying there is a real self and a false self . And the false Self has attached itself. Along those lines. I see it as the ‘Ego’ belief system in guilt and death and fear of God. Just a thought. Plays out in confusing ways in our physical reality though. Not to do with anyone who has shown up here. Like calling to like and fits with the Garden. Wipes brow. At some point guilt will be released. God knows what will happen to reality when we let go of guilt completely.

Cade and I remote viewed a movie called ‘Mystery Alaska’ this evening. It’s about ice hockey – I fancied a movie about ice hockey and Cade suggested it – and it was a pretty flick with Russell Crowe and Hank Azaria. Afterward, I checked my Twitterfeed and saw a tweet about a mystery in Alaska…

I know we have our personal take but in the weird way this works your movie and news story speaks of the Diamond. And fits with comment to Elena. Expressions of the one soul. Betty is Dotty. If you knew the Betty I am referring to that’s QF – Quite Funny. Where it does get confusing ‘it’ speaks of two diamonds and two parallel main lines out from Genesis. And quantum worlds within the two diamonds. Maybe male and female universes which somehow interact. Seem to be circling back to some sort of beginning or pre beginning. Talking about a world before time so maybe before Genesis.
Weird place. I included the Full Circle song by a band called Haelos in the article which was included in the OA soundtrack. The members of the band are semi doppelgangers of characters from the OA Tv series.
