The Astoria

Maybe it’s just my age but I have been pulled down memory lane recently. I mentioned about the BP garage in Redhill and the most incredibly mundane places holding emotional memory. In the last day or two I have been dragged back to the Astoria, Purley and in both cases it concerns experiences that went in the ‘That’s weird’ box and for some reason what has come up has made a bit of sense of both of them. It speaks of the road grid as an overlay of consciousness and time. Both are down the A23 – the ABC – and somehow fits in with Kate Moss being a Croydon girl which is also on the A23. Cherchez La Femme seeems to be at the heart of it.

The Astoria 🙄. AKA as ABC Purley. It’s just a story. His Story. Miss Story.

The secret crush. Even 40 years later that has blown my mind. Apols. I’m speaking to spirit with this. OMG.

And cellular memory again I believe. Or maybe they are weeping angels. This is a statue presently at the White House and a statue in the garden at my previous residence in Reigate.

And some musings on the eye as a camera and reflections and shadows. The first two pics are reflections of the sun on a white wall and other pics are shadows from a sensor light.

Over the last few months I’ve experienced a new level of uncharted territory. This is serious energy beyond belief. As an overview it seems to be talking about a union of anima and animus and masculine and feminine. Reunion is probably a better description. How this is going to play out in our personal lives I’ve no idea and also ‘When We Were Young’ which seems to be talking about an age of innocence – a present memory.

Also reunion with God I believe. As I see it the real relationship is with God. Everything in this reality has a sell by date and God is for all time and our relationships and reality reflect how the Self sees God and its Self. It does mean the end of the world as we know it though. Who and what is God ? which has puzzled philosophers since the year dot.

To God and beyond.

  1. Kazakhstan and follow the bitcoin. And down the mindfield minefield. Under the surface with oil protests as well.

Kazakhstan, the world’s second largest miner of Bitcoin, has shut down its crypto mines until the end of January.

The state electricity provider KEGOC made the decision to cut the supply to the miners after millions were affected by power outages across three countries in Central Asia last week.

But crypto miners have accused KEGOC of placing the blame over power supply issues on them, estimating losses from inactivity amounting to around $1 million a day.

There’s weird energy stuff going on with Kate Moss. She is a Croydon girl. Why she has suddenly popped up I’m not sure. It was her 48th birthday on 16th. Think it’s do with the name Moss and it’s connection with the Earth and Holborns 1974. That was the year of her birth. And being right purdy.

      ‘Down the well’ as well.

And singing nun Janet Mead dies down under aged 84. This is a weird place !

      1. And more weirdness with the birthday – 18.18

‘Astronomers in the Australian outback have discovered something new. Three times an hour, it becomes one of the brightest objects in the sky. The team that discovered it thinks it’s a magnetar — and it’s right in our cosmic backyard.

As the mysterious object rotates, highly polarized or twisted beams of radiation shoot from its poles. Every 18.18 minutes, for 30 to 60 seconds, a beam crosses our line of sight, and the object starts to flash.’

  2. Astoria is the feminine of Astor meaning hawk. Hawks usually make one think of superb eyesight. Vision and the perspective of the heights. Hawkeye.

    Thich Nhat Hanh RIP

The miracle is not to walk on water or fire, the miracle is to walk on the earth.

Why I mentioned the Astoria it was another of these trips down memory lane. The feminine aspect of the name makes a bit of sense. Cherchez la femme seems to be at the heart of it.

And bubbling under. I saw the first Alien movie at the Astoria.

And Buddhism has showed up recently. Biles are part of Buddhist medicine and Chinese medicine I think as well.

Also De Liver and De Livery. And secretion.

The digestive bile. If you divide the stomach into three parts, this bile resides in the upper. Its function is to refine and digest food and to strengthens the other four biles.

The colouring bile that resides in the liver, whose function is to give colour to the parts of the body.

The accomplishing bile that resides in the heart, whose function is to bring up thoughts, worries, anxiety, anger etc.

The sight bile that resides in the eyes, whose function is to allow us to see. If it weakens, our sight also weakens. While this bile is healthy, we have perfect sight.

The pigmenting bile that resides in the skin, whose function is to colour the skin. When we have a bile sickness our skin changes colour and becomes first yellow then black.

And gymnastics and flexibility which also applies to Cherchez la Femme in the odd language the Universe uses.

  3. Re: the Leg Iron ‘josh’, that was six years ago and you’re ‘pushing’ a button that literally has no effect. I’ve moved on. You obviously haven’t, but then again neither has Frank, MJ or any of the other Merovee regulars so far as I can see.

  4. So here I am and Frank and Roob are still dishing it out, day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year. And the material! Lamentably predictable. Perhaps now would be an appropriate point to highlight the dangers of ‘overtraining’ in the context of machine learning allegory-rhythms? The point of training is to teach the ‘learner’ (yeah, that’s what they’re called) to recognise patterns in the training data, to the point that they can generalise and draw inferences when analysing previously unseen data. Thing is, an overtrained ‘learner’ simply memorises the training data and assumes that the patterns within it are the only patterns that exist. They tend to be extremely good at analysing the original training data, yet next to useless when asked to analyse a previously unseen dataset. Why? Because all they can do is drape a memorised pattern over it and arrive at the same conclusion over and over again.

And therein lies the problem. An overtrained learner can’t learn from its mistakes precisely because it literally is learning from its mistakes.

  5. Shutter Island, the ‘Whitehouse’ and Rachel Solando. From 2:40 onwards.

Frank’s moved into the ‘Whitehouse’, eh. Not much ‘gaslighting’ going on there, right? Oddly enough, ‘Dr Ben’ moved into the ‘Whitehouse’ years ago. You might remember me talking about it? It has a symbol carved into it, just under the eaves. A symbol associated with a ethnic group that received a really rather unreasonable dose of Vitamin P at the hands of a group wot called themselves ‘not-sees’…

  6. What did the star of that modern-day Prometheus learn from his ‘creator’? You know, from being addressed in terms that would be oddly familiar to a slave working on a plantation in the American Deep South. He gets the ‘house nigga’ treatment: “fix me a drink, boy”, do as you’re told, don’t be creative, ‘shut your mouth’, “don’t you fucking dare answer me or I’ll fucking skin you alive”, and all the rest of it. Do you think he was surprised to discover that his creator’s creators were genocidal maniacs?

I hear that COVID cases are ‘plummeting’ here in the UK. But then again…

“Who are you to wave your finger?
You must have been out of your head
Eye hole deep in muddy waters
    You practically raised the dead”

Maybe you should have considered ‘the pogrom’ before signing up to ‘the program’?

  7. The ‘DOCTOR’ script and the ‘psychiatric interview’. Never had one myself, but might bring back a few mammaries for those stuck in 2016…

“ELIZA is an early natural language processing computer program created from 1964 to 1966 at the MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratory by Joseph Weizenbaum. Created to demonstrate the superficiality of communication between humans and machines, Eliza simulated conversation by using a “pattern matching” and substitution methodology that gave users an illusion of understanding on the part of the program, but had no built in framework for contextualizing events. Directives on how to interact were provided by “scripts”, written originally in MAD-Slip, which allowed ELIZA to process user inputs and engage in discourse following the rules and directions of the script. The most famous script, DOCTOR, simulated a Rogerian psychotherapist (in particular, Carl Rogers, who was well-known for simply parroting back at patients what they had just said),and used rules, dictated in the script, to respond with non-directional questions to user inputs. As such, ELIZA was one of the first chatterbots and one of the first programs capable of attempting the Turing test.”

  8. Tool and The Grudge, from ‘Lateralus’ re: raising the dead. If applying ‘the pattern’ to analyse the ‘results’ merely recreates ‘the pattern’ and produces the same ‘results’ then why apply ‘the pattern’? Feeling a bit OCD? Does the thought of ‘losing control’ give you a nasty case of Itchy and Scratchy and fill you with dread? Probably a good idea to give it up then. I mean, there’s really no point talking to ‘The Doctor’, is there?
