On Saturday, Jen and I watched the ‘Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas’ movie and the last scene showed the ‘You are now leaving Fear and Loathing’ sign below. You want a sign ?
It’s been an interesting few weeks. Myself and Jen came out of our News Lockdown yesterday from the Lunar eclipse until the Solar eclipse to see that it looks like the world went bang. Reading comments and non news websites we suspected as much but it was expected.
It looks as if the George Floyd protests gathered momentum is probably an understatement. But again for me ‘Reality’. In a scene straight out of the ‘Inception’ mob scene, on the weekend of the Solstice and the Eclipse the statue of Francis Key in San Francisco was pulled down, amongst others. Francis Key wrote the lyrics for the Star Spangled Banner supposedly. I have strong doubts about the veracity of history. And reality.
The Coronavirus looks like its rumbling on worldwide.Will there be two Waves 🙋♂️ 🙋♀️ ?
And the Trump Rally empty seats in Tulsa again speaks about ‘Reality’ to me. Everyone’s gone to Proxima Centauri B.
Anyway, we have decided that actually we rather like News Lockdown so after a quick glimpse outside the door and seeing hungry crocodiles walking about, we are going to continue with it. My plan is to look at the NEWS once a week and maybe write one News article.
This doesn’t have anything to do with the positive or negative nature of the news. It’s that it all seems to be happening in a galaxy far, far away. Once the news seemed relevant but there is a major disconnection in 2020.
Maybe, I live in a Fool’s Paradise. I haven’t come across anyone who has Corona Virus and around me, it is very peaceful and maybe the Universe is pointing something out but I have seen a number of mixed race couples hand in hand and families strolling about quite happily recently. Normally I wouldn’t mention it but again there is a disconnection between the news and my experience.
I mentioned that I had highlighted the period from 25/5 to the Solar Eclipse and that was more accurate than even I expected. I’m seeing the next phase from now until the Lions Gate on 8/8/2020. We’ve got the next lunar eclipse coming up on July 4th or 5th depending which part of the world you are in, and probably more shenanigans in between. After 8/8 until the end of the year, I’m expecting a serious ‘Reality’ collapse. How it will play out I have no idea but expect serious, serious weirdness is my view.

Over the weekend I was thinking about a possible future. Biden wins election and chooses Kamala Harris as VP.
Shortly after Biden steps down after one dementia gaffe too many and Harris comes President.
But another possible future is that the world changes beyond anything we’ve seen before.
I don’t think presidents and pretend royals have a future in the future. I’m old and even to me they look outdated. A thing of the past.

We’ve gone from theocracy, direct rule by a god, to monarchy the human who rules by divine right. Now we have a representative democracy and the leaders we choose are behaving like monarchs. What gives?

In a very real sense we have never left it but have covered it over in the Mind with what we have experienced. Again IMO.
I agree about the news. So much of it is computer generated (ALICE, GAN, Neon, etc), it’s not worth bothering with anymore. Life is peaceful here too. No one I know has the virus or died from it, no one is rioting, etc. Hollywood has infiltrated the news. To be fair, humans in urban regions may be get more entangled/enmeshed with the script.

You maybe correct about the urban mindstyle. My brother lives in NY and he was reporting back here about bodies on hospital trolleys being pushed down the sidewalk at the height of the virus crisis in NY. And going on a protest march. But then he’s in the media. Maybe connected.
When people ask me I’ve been saying ‘I’m enjoying it’ which gets curious looks before I explain my thinking. The postman is loving it.

This time of the year if I’m awake at dawn and it’s not raining, I love to pop out and feel the peace and listen to the birds. At that time of the day, in the distance I can hear the M25. It sounds like blood pumping. Normally I can’t hear it and if I do, it sounds discordant but at dawn, it sounds different.

The goal though does appear to dismiss everything as illusion. Except when one’s own ass gets bitten. Then that’s real.
