Boiling Point.

 

 

The Boiling Point is the temperature at which liquid turns to vapour.

You may have a bad case of the vapours.

Until they be all borne upwards.

And thus when they have spued out their venom,
Into the water then it does appear black,
Becoming spiritual each deal without doubt,
Subliming easily in our manner,
Into the water, which does bear it:
For in the air our child must thus be born
Of the water again, as I have said before.

But when these two by continual Sublimation,
Be laboured so with heat both moist and temperate,
That is all white and purely made spiritual,
Then heaven upon earth must be reiterated,
Until the soul with the body be incorporated,
That earth become all that before was heaven,
Which will be done in seven Sublimations.

And Sublimations we make for three causes,
The first cause is, to make the body spiritual,
The second is, that the spirit may be corporeal ,
And become fixed with it and consubstantial,
The third cause is, that from its filthy original
It may be cleansed, and its saltiness sulphurious,
May be diminished in it, which is infectious.

Then when they thus together be freed from impurities,
They will sublime up whiter than the snow;
That sight will greatly comfort you :
For then anon perfectly you shalt know,
The spirits shall so be thrown down,
That this eighth gate shall to thee be unlocked,
Out of which many are shut and mocked.

‘In psychology, sublimation is a mature type of defense mechanism, in which socially unacceptable impulses or idealizations are transformed into socially acceptable actions or behavior, possibly resulting in a long-term conversion of the initial impulse.

Sigmund Freud believed that sublimation was a sign of maturity and civilization, allowing people to function normally in culturally acceptable ways. He defined sublimation as the process of deflecting sexual instincts into acts of higher social valuation, being “an especially conspicuous feature of cultural development; it is what makes it possible for higher psychical activities, scientific, artistic or ideological, to play such an “important” part in civilized life”

 

 

Carl Jung disagreed with Freud :

‘Sublimation is part of the royal art where the true gold is made. Of this Freud knows nothing; worse still, he barricades all the paths that could lead to true sublimation. This is just about the opposite of what Freud understands by sublimation. It is not a voluntary and forcible channeling of instinct into a spurious field of application, but an alchymical transformation for which fire and prima materia are needed. Sublimation is a great mystery. Freud has appropriated this concept and usurped it for the sphere of the will and the bourgeois, rationalistic ethos.’

  3. Bugs and Pugs and now worms. There’s an article at Phys.org which says scientists at Cal Tech have discovered a worm in Mono Lake which has three sexes.
    Mono aka Epstein/Barr virus the kissing disease, has produced a new worm in the system.

    And the sky god says there are spies everywhere in the inner sanctum.

        Judging from the way this whole Whistleblower thing has suddenly exploded and is moving so quickly, I think Area 51 was breached last weekend. 🙂

        And about the bugs, pugs and worms.
        Our infrastructure is still mostly wood and this lantern fly is a voracious wood eater. It’s totally capable of destroying the current structure. This is what has the PTB freaking out.
        And the worm, the new thing, is loose in the system.
        And the Pug, is a good dog/god.

        Things are changing quickly, it’s hard to keep up with all. And a sense there’s no going back.

          Speaking for myself I had an interesting few days Thurs/ Fri and one involved an interesting insight which I would like to share but it is personal so never quite know what to do in these circs. Involves mirror alternate / timeline realities or something very strange. It passed the Jen test that I’m probably seeing correctly. Still mulling it over. It’s a bit by bit process of slow revelation it seems.

          And next day this showed up.

          1. Not quite sure how to answer your questions but I’ll confess, I have partaken of the Chips…and I do generally like potatoes…from the ground. 🙂 And as for ‘good’ and ‘evil’ – I rarely know the difference by the whirled’s standards. I am saved by Natural Law.

  16. The problem with cancer is that – left untreated – it ends up killing the host and itself. Eliminate cancer and the phonies stop singing altogether: no people, no sugary lolly, end of story.

    Allow cancer to spread unchecked and end up with the ‘Green Utopia’ of the ‘recycled Ka’: a dead pedosphere, a cannibalistic existence, maybe not the end but who wants to live that way? Dress it up however you like but it’s always the same meal, isn’t it? Sound familiar?

    Is there any point looking for a ‘third way’ when the answer from Führer’s Heil Mary and Adolphin is always a resounding “Nein!”?
