Maybe it’s just a matter of getting on a plane but reading between the lines it maybe a bit more complicated.
Jen and I watched The OA last week. It was one of them. Virtually the whole series was set in San Francisco which was a total mind you know what. I could write a book on it.
As far as this is concerned there were two dimensions in the series. Actually it ends with three but that is complicating matters further.
In one dimension Treasure Island was open and in another it was closed.

Yes, that’s the idea Hugo. I think it’s a concept human consciousness has entertained for millennia. To eat or not to eat. To evaporate into holy purity. No fleshy messies. No gross bodily needs. Flagellation. Anorexia-the same thing as obesity just in the other direction.
I’ve been asking if we’ve all stopped eating yet in response to the assumptions it’s all unreal and only in the imagination. Is that really true? Do we believe that really? Not really, right? We eat because we believe/know our bodies are real. But we hate them for that. Because flesh is fleeting so we fictionalize.
